Natural Horsemanship Savvy Tournament

Come to the
Wicomico Equestrian Center in Salisbury, Maryland
and play games with your horse.

We have several areas in a large outdoor sand arena; half the arena will be a play area with some toys and the other half will be two Savvy Tournament courses – one for practice and one to be ‘judged’.

The play day starts at 10 a.m.; judging will start at 10:30 a.m.

The WEC is sponsoring a Tack Exchange/Yard Sale and leading Trail Rides. Christine Driscoll will also be doing a Natural Horsemanship Dressage Demonstration.A negative Coggins must be shown before horses can be unloaded.
Play Day Fees: $35
(this includes a $25 WEC 2007 membership fee and a $10 grounds fee)

Savvy Tournament (each time you get judged) $5
Divisions by Level and junior / senior
We have a special prize for Most Improved

Check the WEC website, http://www.wecevents.org, regularly for descriptions of Savvy Tournament Challenges and other Natural Horsemanship Events like the Jack Brainard Pleasure Horse & Versatility classes.

Even if you have never brought your horse to an event like this before, please come. Our intent is to make this a safe place to play and progress with your horse. If competition gives you the jitters, just come out and play with us. There will lots of supportive people around and the chance to watch people at all different levels play with their horses – and have your horse in hand while you are doing it – is an opportunity not to be missed.

The WEC is a beautiful facility and in addition to the sand arena, there are other places to play with your horse including some trails and lots of grassy areas.
